Classic Manaslu Circuit Trek – 11 Days

The Classic Manaslu Circuit Trek – 11 Days (Direct Route) is one of Nepal’s most authentic and adventurous Himalayan trekking experiences, offering a complete journey around Mount Manaslu (8,163 m), the world’s eighth-highest mountain.

This direct trekking route excludes Barpak and Laprak, starting straight from the Budhi Gandaki Valley at Khorla Besi and Jagat, making it a more efficient and focused version of the classic circuit while still preserving its cultural depth and natural beauty.

Far from crowded trekking trails, this route takes you deep into the restricted Manaslu Conservation Area, where ancient Tibetan-influenced villages, untouched landscapes, and dramatic Himalayan scenery create a truly unforgettable experience.

🏔️ Trek Overview

The journey begins in the lower Budhi Gandaki Valley and quickly enters a world of deep river gorges, suspension bridges, waterfalls, and terraced farmland. As you move higher, the scenery changes dramatically into alpine forests, glacial valleys, and high mountain landscapes.

Along the trail, you pass through traditional villages inhabited by Gurung and Tibetan-origin communities, where you will experience authentic Himalayan culture, ancient monasteries, prayer wheels, mani walls, and colorful prayer flags.

The highlight of the trek is crossing the legendary Larkya La Pass (5,160 m) — one of the most stunning high passes in Nepal. From the top, trekkers enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Manaslu, Himlung Himal, Kang Guru, Cheo Himal, and Annapurna II.

After the pass, the trail descends into beautiful alpine valleys leading toward the Annapurna region.

🌄 Why Choose the Direct Manaslu Circuit Trek?

This 11-day direct route is perfect for trekkers who want a complete Manaslu experience in a shorter time without side detours, while still enjoying the full adventure of the circuit.

It is ideal for those seeking a remote, cultural, and high-altitude Himalayan trekking experience in Nepal.
