Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350 m)
Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, our representative will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in a private vehicle. After checking in, enjoy some free time to rest after your international flight or explore the vibrant streets of Thamel, famous for its colorful shops, cafés, restaurants, and trekking gear stores.
Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal, offers a fascinating blend of ancient traditions, rich culture, and modern life. In the evening, you will meet your trekking guide for a briefing about the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing and Trek Preparation
Today is dedicated to exploring Nepal’s rich cultural heritage. Accompanied by your guide and private vehicle, visit the sacred Pashupatinath Temple, Nepal’s most important Hindu pilgrimage site, located beside the holy Bagmati River. Continue to the magnificent Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest Buddhist stupas in the world and an important center of Tibetan Buddhism.
After sightseeing, there will be time to finalize your trekking preparations, check equipment, and receive a detailed briefing regarding the trek.

Day 3: Flight to Lukla (2,840 m) and Trek to Phakding (2,610 m)
After an early morning transfer to the airport, board one of the most scenic mountain flights in the world to Lukla. During the 30-minute flight, enjoy breathtaking aerial views of the Himalayan range, including snow-capped peaks, deep valleys, and remote mountain villages. Upon arrival at Lukla, meet the trekking crew and begin your adventure in the Everest region.
The trail descends gently through traditional Sherpa villages decorated with colorful prayer flags, mani stones, and Buddhist stupas. Following the Dudh Koshi River, you pass through Chheplung and Ghat villages while enjoying beautiful views of Kusum Kanguru and surrounding peaks. The easy first day allows your body to gradually adjust before higher elevations. Arrive in the peaceful village of Phakding, located beside the river, where you can relax and enjoy the first night in the mountains.

Day 4: Phakding (2,610 m) to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m)
Today is one of the most exciting days of the trek as you enter the heart of the Everest region. The trail follows the Dudh Koshi River through beautiful pine forests and charming Sherpa villages. Numerous suspension bridges decorated with prayer flags add excitement to the journey, including the famous Hillary Suspension Bridge.
After reaching Monjo, the gateway to Sagarmatha National Park, permits are checked before continuing along the river valley. The final climb to Namche Bazaar is steep but rewarding. On clear days, trekkers enjoy their first glimpse of Mount Everest, standing proudly above the surrounding peaks. After the climb, arrive in Namche Bazaar, the vibrant capital of the Sherpa people, filled with bakeries, cafés, trekking shops, and stunning mountain views.

Day 5: Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazaar (3,440 m)
To ensure a safe and enjoyable trek, today is dedicated to acclimatization. Following the principle of "climb high, sleep low," you will take a rewarding hike above Namche Bazaar to help your body adapt to the increasing altitude. The trail climbs toward the famous Everest View Hotel, one of the highest luxury hotels in the world, offering breathtaking panoramas of Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, and other Himalayan giants.
Continuing to the traditional Sherpa village of Khumjung, you will have the opportunity to explore local life, visit the historic monastery that is said to house a Yeti scalp, and learn about the unique culture and traditions of the Khumbu region. After enjoying the spectacular scenery and mountain atmosphere, return to Namche Bazaar for a relaxing afternoon.

Day 6: Namche Bazaar (3,440 m) to Dole (4,110 m)
Leaving the classic Everest Base Camp trail, today's route heads toward the beautiful Gokyo Valley. The trail climbs gradually above Namche, offering magnificent views of Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and Thamserku. Walking along scenic mountain ridges, you pass through small Sherpa settlements and peaceful forests of rhododendron, pine, and juniper.
After descending to Phortse Tenga beside the river, the trail climbs steadily through forests and alpine landscapes to reach the small village of Dole. Surrounded by towering peaks and grazing yaks, Dole offers a peaceful setting away from the busier Everest Base Camp route.

Day 7: Dole (4,110 m) to Machermo (4,470 m)
Today's trek takes you above the tree line into a spectacular alpine environment. The trail climbs gradually along the side of the valley, providing ever-expanding views of Cho Oyu, the sixth-highest mountain in the world. Along the way, pass yak grazing areas, stone-built settlements, and mountain streams flowing from glaciers high above.
As the altitude increases, the landscape becomes more rugged and dramatic. Arriving in Machermo, you are rewarded with beautiful mountain scenery and a peaceful atmosphere. This small village is famous for old Sherpa stories of the mysterious Yeti.

Day 8: Machermo (4,470 m) to Gokyo (4,790 m)
One of the most beautiful days of the trek awaits. The trail climbs steadily toward the magical Gokyo Valley. Along the route, you pass the first and second Gokyo Lakes, whose crystal-clear turquoise waters create unforgettable reflections of the surrounding peaks.
As you approach the third lake, Dudh Pokhari, the stunning village of Gokyo appears beside its shoreline. Surrounded by glaciers, snowy mountains, and pristine alpine landscapes, Gokyo is considered one of the most beautiful places in the Himalayas.

Day 9: Gokyo Ri (5,360 m) Excursion & Trek to Thagnak (4,700 m)
Before sunrise, begin the climb to Gokyo Ri, one of the most spectacular viewpoints in Nepal. The ascent is steep but incredibly rewarding. From the summit, enjoy a breathtaking 360-degree panorama featuring four of the world's fourteen highest mountains: Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and Cho Oyu.
Below, the turquoise Gokyo Lakes sparkle among the rugged mountain terrain, while the immense Ngozumpa Glacier stretches across the valley. After spending time enjoying the unforgettable scenery and taking photographs, descend to Gokyo for the remainder of the day.

Day 10: Thagnak (4,700 m) – Cho La Pass (5,420 m) – Dzongla (4,830 m)
Today is one of the highlights of the entire trek. An early start is essential as you begin the challenging ascent toward the famous Cho La Pass. The trail climbs through rocky terrain, glacial sections, and often snow-covered slopes before reaching the summit.
Standing atop Cho La Pass is an unforgettable experience. Surrounded by dramatic Himalayan peaks and glaciers, the panoramic views are simply extraordinary. After enjoying the scenery, descend carefully to the peaceful village of Dzongla.

Day 11: Dzongla (4,830 m) to Lobuche (4,910 m)
After yesterday's challenging crossing, today's trek is relatively short and relaxing. The trail offers magnificent views of Cholatse, Lobuche Peak, and surrounding Himalayan landscapes as you make your way toward Lobuche.
Upon reaching Lobuche, join the classic Everest Base Camp route. The atmosphere becomes increasingly exciting as you get closer to the legendary base camp of Mount Everest.

Day 12: Lobuche (4,910 m) – Gorakshep (5,140 m) – Everest Base Camp (5,364 m) – Gorakshep
Today is the day you reach the legendary Everest Base Camp. Following the edge of the Khumbu Glacier, the trail gradually climbs toward Gorakshep, the final settlement in the valley.
After lunch, continue across rocky glacial terrain to Everest Base Camp itself. Standing at the foot of the world's highest mountain is an unforgettable achievement. During climbing season, colorful expedition tents cover the glacier, creating a vibrant atmosphere beneath the towering peaks.
After celebrating this incredible accomplishment, return to Gorakshep for the night.

Day 13: Gorakshep (5,140 m) – Kala Patthar (5,550 m) – Pheriche (4,240 m)
Before dawn, climb to Kala Patthar, the most famous viewpoint in the Everest region. As the first rays of sunlight illuminate Everest and the surrounding peaks, you will witness one of the most spectacular mountain panoramas on Earth.
After enjoying this unforgettable sunrise, descend to Gorakshep for breakfast before continuing downhill through Lobuche and Thukla to the village of Pheriche.

Day 14: Pheriche (4,240 m) to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m)
The trail continues through Pangboche and Deboche before reaching the famous Tengboche Monastery. Enjoy your final close-up views of Ama Dablam, Everest, and surrounding peaks before descending through rhododendron forests toward Namche Bazaar.
The return to Namche feels lively and comfortable after many days at high altitude.

Day 15: Namche Bazaar (3,440 m) to Lukla (2,840 m)
Descend further through forests of rhododendron and juniper.
Cross rivers and suspension bridges before returning to the lively village of Namche.
Day 16: Flight to Kathmandu (1350 m)
Enjoy one final Himalayan sunrise before boarding the scenic flight back to Kathmandu. During the flight, take in your last aerial views of the Everest region and the snow-covered Himalayan range.
Upon arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for shopping, sightseeing, relaxing, or celebrating the completion of your trek.

Day 17: Final Departure
Depending on your international flight schedule, our representative will transfer you to Tribhuvan International Airport. As your unforgettable journey through the Everest region comes to an end, take with you lifelong memories of Everest Base Camp, Gokyo Lakes, Cho La Pass, Kala Patthar, and the warm hospitality of the Sherpa people.

Yes, it's recommended to have previous high-altitude trekking experience for safety and comfort.
Altitude sickness is a concern. Our itinerary includes acclimatization days to reduce risk, and our guides are trained for emergencies.
Spring (March–May) and Autumn (September–November) offer the best weather and views.
