Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our representative will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in Kathmandu.

The remainder of the day is free to relax after your international flight. If time permits, you may explore the lively streets of Thamel, enjoy a cup of Nepali tea, exchange money, or purchase any last-minute trekking equipment.

Today is one of the most adventurous and rewarding days of the trek. Leaving Dzongla early in the morning, the trail climbs steadily over rocky terrain to the spectacular Cho La Pass (5,420 m). From the top, enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of snow-capped peaks, glaciers, and the dramatic Himalayan landscape.

After crossing the pass, descend carefully over rocky trails and glacial sections to the peaceful village of Thagnak, located beside the impressive Ngozumpa Glacier, the longest glacier in Nepal.

Spend the night in Thagnak and rest before continuing to the beautiful Gokyo Valley.

Day 15: Thagnak (4,700 m) – Gokyo (4,790 m)

Today's walk is short but incredibly scenic. Cross the magnificent Ngozumpa Glacier, following cairn-marked trails over rocky moraine before reaching the stunning turquoise lakes of Gokyo Valley.

After arriving in Gokyo, enjoy a relaxing afternoon exploring the peaceful lakeside village and the surrounding glacial landscape. You may take a leisurely walk along the shores of Dudh Pokhari, visit the nearby lakes, or simply relax while admiring the magnificent views of Cho Oyu, the world's sixth-highest mountain.

This extra night in Gokyo provides a wonderful opportunity to appreciate one of the most beautiful valleys in the Everest region.

Day 16: Sunrise Hike to Gokyo Ri (5,357 m) – Trek to Machhermo (4,470 m)

After returning to Gokyo for breakfast, descend through the beautiful Gokyo Valley to the peaceful village of Machhermo, passing alpine meadows, glacial streams, and traditional yak pastures.

Day 17: Machhermo (4,470 m) – Namche Bazaar (3,440 m)
